Tiffany Crabtree discovered accounting at a young age. Her Nana gave her a ten-key calculator before she was ten. This was accompanied by obsolete forms from her Aunt Debra’s office. The childhood occupation is now her profession.
Attending York Institute, she was mentored by Mrs. Demple Weaver and earned two state FBLA titles in Accounting. After graduating as 2004 YAI Valedictorian, she continued to broaden her horizons from 2004-2009 at Lee University, in Cleveland, TN, where she earned a double major in Accounting and Business Administration, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Upon completing these degrees, she sat for and passed all parts of the CPA exam on the first attempt. In 2010, she began working for a firm in Dalton, GA, becoming a certified public accountant in both Georgia and Tennessee. At this firm, clients quickly dubbed her a "whiz kid" after she answered or researched their questions. She gained valuable experience in auditing, individual, and corporate accounting, serving clients with tax implications in over 30 states and multiple countries.
In 2014, Tiffany and her husband, Jonathan, decided to move back home to Jamestown, TN. She became reacquainted with the region, working for a firm in Cumberland County until 2020.
In the fall of 2020, Tiffany founded Crabtree Public Accounting, at the urging of her family and other supportive contacts in the community. Now she offers her 10+ years of CPA experience to clients in the Upper Cumberland Region.
