our story

Tiffany Crabtree discovered accounting early, on a ten-key calculator from her Nana and obsolete forms from her Aunt Debra. The childhood occupation is now her profession.

Attending York Institute, she was mentored by Mrs. Demple Weaver and earned two state FBLA titles in Accounting before graduating as 2004 Valedictorian.  Later, She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration in 2009 from Lee University in Cleveland, TN.

She passed all parts of the CPA exam on the first attempt. In 2010, she began working for a firm in Dalton, GA, becoming a certified public accountant in both Georgia and Tennessee. At that firm, clients quickly dubbed her a "whiz kid" for speedy research skills between working on audits, and individual and corporate accounting.

In 2014, Tiffany and her husband, Jonathan, decided to move back home to Jamestown, TN. She commuted to a firm in Cumberland County until 2020. That fall, Tiffany founded Crabtree Public Accounting, LLC, at the urging of her family and other supportive contacts in the community. Now she offers her 15+ years of CPA experience to clients in the Upper Cumberland Region.

Staff~In addition to Tiffany, our employee base now includes an ever growing culture of people. Their stories are their own to tell, but their qualifications include another CPA, multiple collegiate degrees, increasing years of experience in bookkeeping, tax, business administration, marketing, and of course no shortage of life perspectives.

Clients~ We enjoy having served clients with business on five continents, in multiple countries, and in 35 states. (Please send us referrals for narwhales and penguins so we can cover the globe.) We train constantly to serve clients in different areas so that our geography is never your problem. We still love being at home, where we can see clients face to face when they need us. Remote connections might work, but in-person still works better.
